What documents do I need to provide when I register?

At Packaly we require you to be a registered sole proprietor. If you register your sole proprietorship in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce KVK Business Register, you will receive two letters from the Tax and Customs Administration within two weeks, including a VAT number!

If you are interested in becoming a Rider but aren't registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce KVK Business Register yet, then this page might help you further and answers everything you need to have ready before registering.

Where to find your VAT number?

You can find the VAT number on letters from the tax department, which you can recognise from the blue enveloppe. In case you prefer to find your VAT number online, go to the website of the tax-department login in this portal. Here you will find your VAT number.

Can I update my VAT later?

Yes. If you don't have a valid VAT number at the moment you can still continue the onboarding process and submit this later in the Packaly rider app. Once your rider account is activated, you will be able to update your VAT in the Settings menu while working at Packaly.
