Customers have to be 18 years or older when ordering alcohol. We guarantee stores that we check personal ID's, in order to ensure the customer is over 18. How do we do this?
Automated question in the Rider app
Our Riders make use of our own Rider app, which will pop-up for every delivery that contains alcohol the question if the customer is over 18 years old or not. The Rider is obliged to response in the Application with Yes or No. If the customer is over 18 years old, the order will get delivered at the customer. When the customer is not younger than 18 years old, the order will be returned to the store.
What happens when the order gets returned?
When the customer is not 18 years or older the Rider will bring back the complete order to the store. As a store you will get a notification in the Store Dashboard when the order is on its way back. For every return will be charged €3,-, which we will use completely to compensate the Rider for the extra work.
